How to get to Disneyland from Paris-Vatry airport ?

Your plane lands at Paris-Vatry airport and you want to go to Disneyland Paris Park? Traveling to Paris-Vatry Disneyland Airport can be quite complicated if you do not have your own vehicle on site. But, fortunately, there are several options available to you:

1. Paris-Vatry Disneyland airport shuttle bus

Taking the Paris-Vatry Disneyland airport shuttle is undoubtedly the easiest and fastest option. For only 39. 6 euros per adult and 30 euros per child, a driver takes you to Disneyland, and drops you off in front of your hotel about 1h30 after departure. You don’t need to make any changes or take any public transportation (not so convenient with the suitcases). The Paris-Vatry Disneyland airport shuttle bus makes the trip three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, after the arrival of the planes. It is also possible to book a place in the shuttle bus for your return, from Disneyland Paris to Paris-Vatry airport.

2. Public transport

This option is quite advantageous from a budgetary point of view, but it is also the longest. It will take you more than three hours to make the trip to Paris-Vatry Disneyland Airport. You will first have to take a shuttle bus to Châlons-en-Champagne (20 euros) and, from there, pick up the RER to Paris gare de l’Est. After taking the transilien P to Val de Fontenay, the RER A will take you to your destination at Marne la Vallée Chessy station. Without a car, it is therefore possible to connect Paris-Vatry Airport to Disneyland, but it is better not to plan to enter the park the same day.

3. Coaches

It is also possible to travel from Châlons-en-Champagne to Paris by coach. The journey is not necessarily faster, but it may be more pleasant thanks to wifi and the electrical outlets in the buses. They have more than one safe to leave their luggage in during the journey. After taking the shuttle bus from Paris Vatry airport to Châlons-en-Champagne, you can book a bus from Flixbus. Count between 5 and 10 euros for the price of the trip. The bus will leave you at the Paris Bercy bus station. From there, you will still need a good hour’s drive to finally reach Disneyland (metro 14 towards Saint-Lazare station allows you to join the RER A, which will take you to the amusement park).

4. Carpooling

Carpooling is undoubtedly the most economical option for the Paris-Vatry Disneyland Airport trip (less than 15 euros). However, it is not an established route, so carpooling offers are very random. To have a better chance of finding a car, look for a person who offers to take you to Paris in his ad. The place of arrival will of course depend on the driver, but he will surely have the possibility to leave you near a metro station, or even better, on the RER A line. But again, carpooling offers are not fixed, and are often published only a few days in advance. There may be no offer for Paris on the day of your arrival.
